Description
The Lawin, meaning “Eagle,” is a high-speed driver that helps recreational disc golfers break the 300-foot distance mark. It can achieve a full S-curve flight path with moderate power, making it ideal when the Basilisk becomes too understable. With its domey shape, the Lawin offers exceptional glide, adding extra distance at the end of its flight.
Plastic Types:
MaxLife: A translucent premium blend that offers flexibility and high durability, maintaining its flight characteristics longer than other non-premium plastics.
MaxValue: A budget-friendly basic blend that provides excellent grip and tack. While it breaks in faster than premium blends, it’s an affordable option for testing new discs or achieving a superior grip.
Max Grip: Known for being one of the grippiest blends available, it combines a soft touch with outstanding grip for enhanced comfort and performance. It rivals the grip of Kastaplast’s K1 plastic while offering durability similar to Discraft’s original X plastic. Discs in this blend often feature more dome than other plastic types.
Max Grip UV: A playful twist on the MaxGrip formula, this plastic changes colors when exposed to sunlight, while retaining the same high-quality grip.
MaxFlex: A more pliable version of MaxGrip, designed to reduce ground play and perform well in wet or cold conditions.
Max Grip Glow: This version combines the reliable grip and durability of Max Grip with a glow-in-the-dark feature, perfect for night rounds. It is released seasonally in limited quantities.
