Gateway is a major manufacturer of disc golf discs in the US with headquarters in Maryland Disc Heights, Missouri. The Gateway Wizard is one of the top selling putters and is available in dozens of different plastic blends from really soft to rock hard.
This disc is one of gateways slightly overstable mid-range disc with a wide diameter. It is less stable than the Warrior, but more overstable than the Element. This is a great disc for windy conditions and side arm shots.
The Mystic is one of the newer discs in the Gateway mid-range line. This is a understable mid-range disc that can hold it own, and is easy to throw.This is yet another great choice for beginners.
It can be purchased in light weights, and with its similar feel to other Gateway discs helps to provide consistent golfing results.
The Gateway Scout is a great straight shooting disc with an excellent glide. The Scout is stable in flight and comes with a wide diameter, flat top, and a blunt nose, as well as practically no turn and minimal fade. With its shallow rim it allows for an early release.
The Scout is an excellent disc for beginners. Sadly it is out of stock.
The Gateway Element mid-range is a fantastic mid-range. This slightly understable disc will hold any line you give it. Throw it flat and it will fly straight . Put a hard hyzer on it and watch it hyzer flip for a long time. Throw it with anhyzer and watch it maintain the turn throughout the flight duration.
The Element is a great golf disc for beginners, since it is available in very light weights.
The Illusion is a fast, overstable distance driver made by Gateway. This disc is easy to throw and is a great choice for forehands, tomahawks, and distance drives. It also handles headwinds pretty well.
The Diablo DT is a fast overstable distance driver. This Gateway Diablo comes equipped with a degree of high speed turn, followed by a substantial low speed fade.
The Speed Demon lives up to its name as it is a fast, super overstable meathook. Like the regular “Demon”, the Speed Demon one ridiculously overstable disc. This disc happens to travel a lot farther for those of us with longer arms.

The Samurai is an ultra-high speed distance driver moderate turn and low speed end flight fade. The Samurai is one of Gateway’s farthest flying PDGA approved discs. For the newer disc golfers this disc reacts like an overstable disc. For experienced players, it makes a good anhyzer driver. The Samurai is perfect for forehand shots, rollers, and tomahawk shots.
The Apache is a super-straight fairway driver made by Gateway. This disc is sure to be an easy to control flyer.
The Apache is available in both Sure Grip and ultra durable Evolution plastics. Both these plastics are durable and will be able to handle a lot of shots before their flight path is altered. This frisbee is really fun to throw.
The Sabre is a pretty straight flying fairway driver manufactured by Gateway. With a mild degree of high sped turn and minimal end flight fade it’s no wonder that beginners like this disc.
