Category: Disc Brands
These are different brands of disc golf discs. In disc golf, the brand is not necessarily the manufacturer as many manufactures produce discs for multiple brands.
Discmania Spring Ox
The Discmania Active Line Spring Ox is a stable mid-range designed for precision control shots.
Discmania Method
The Discmania Method is the second release in the Discmania Evolution line manufactured by Latitude 64, and the first mid-range disc. The Method is a staple overstable mid-range disc. Coming in at 5, 5, 0, 3, the Method will hold up to your powerful shots and finish it’s flight with reliable fade. Thanks to it’s high glide, it’ll carry itself down the fairway with any flex shots before coming out in the end. After getting his hands on it, Simon Lizotte simply stated, “This is the best mid-range I’ve tried.”
Discmania MD5
The MD5 is Discmania’s most overstable mid-range. Created to give players the reliable fade they’ve been hunting for in Discmanias line-up. Powerful hyzer lines, dependable flicks, and optimal flight is what this disc was designed for. This mid-range has a beaded, thin shape that gives this disc a comfortable feel while in the hand and releases smoothly on every throw.
Discmania MD4
Lower your score with the MD4! The much anticipated MD4 release is finally upon us. Let’s just say it was worth the wait. This disc is the overstable brother of the MD3. The MD4 has a blunt nose with that standard MD3 micro-bead giving it a familiar feel in the hand. Not only is the MD4 overstable, but it also comes with a surprising amount of glide, thus allowing your shots to fade more while still maintaining it’s predictability. Whether you’re facing a stiff wind, searching for that controlled hyzer line, or just throwing a nice touch forehand, the MD4 has you covered. We find this disc to be much more versatile than most other overstable mid-ranges currently on the market, thanks to it’s mix of stability and glide. Don’t wait, grab yourself an MD4 and lower your score!
Discmania MD
From the very beginning of the MD Discmania had a very clear cut mission – to fill their slot straight to understable mid-range and to have the ultimate control for a mid-range. The MD certainly fits the bill for both of those goals. By “ultimate control” they want the thrower to be able to control this disc so they can do any and every type of flight fresh off the shelf. This speed 4 mid-range has a glide rating of 5 with 0 turn and 0 fade. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and then imagine all of the different shots you can accomplish with this mid-range driver in your arsenal. This disc has great feel as well. It has a slight dome and a convex lower wing. It feels like it belongs in your hand and it’s ready to tackle all of your mid-range duties.
Discmania Sunbird
The Discmania Active Sun Bird is an understable fairway driver designed for beginners. This disc is a great first choice for newer players. As a very understable disc, the Sun Bird is an easy disc to throw for roller shots.
Discmania Instinct
The Discmania Instinct is the first disc released in Discmania’s Evolution line manufactured by Latitude 64. The Instinct is a stable fairway driver, a perfect choice for those straight shots up the fairway with a touch of fade at the end.
Discmania Fox Spirit
The Discmania Active Fox Spirit is a stable flying all purpose fairway driver. This disc can handle some power and will always finish out it’s flight with a consistent fade.
Discmania FD3
The Discmania line-up gets a much-anticipated addition in the form of a beefy fairway driver. The newcomer is called the FD3 and it is targeted everyone who can appreciate an overstable driver that can be trusted in any and all conditions. The FD3 features an aerodynamic thin and a very comfortable concave lower rim. Despite being very close to the Power Driver (PD) in terms of flight ratings, the FD3 offers up a noticeably more overstable flight pattern. This disc can be used for everything from touch forehands that get you out of trouble all the way to full power drives right off the tee. You can rely on the FD3’s long but powerful and forward-penetrating fade.
