This overstable mid-range is a touch faster than its ever popular counterpart the Roc. Unlike it’s predecessor, the Roc 3 will only be available in Innova’s Champion plastic. The Champions mix allows for better grip and shine, making it easier to spot in foliage.
This new Roc 3 appears to be able to handle anything, from controlled approaches to range drives. Its extremely versatile and performs well in windy conditions.
The Cro is a stable/slightly overstable mid-range disc. This disc is slightly faster (speed 5), but has less glide (glide 3) than the popular Innova Roc. The Cro has a deep rim (1.4 cm) that gives it a smooth release.
The Greater Midrange Gremlin is a very practical disc to have in your set. The Gremlin is perfect for landing a shot at any point between 100 – 150 feet. This disc has a consistent pattern which it sails through the air to a dependable point where it slows and sets itself down, gently, on the ground. Get a Gremlin for consistent approach shots!
MVP makes the Vector somewhat appear that it is a far flying distance driver, but don’t be fooled – this is an ideal mid-range disc for approaches that require great overstability. The Vector is an excellent mid-range for power throwers as well as newer disc golfers. It also can handle being thrown in windy conditions.
Lightning claims that the #2 Hookshot is a “very fast, long range driver”. We consider it more of a mid-range hooking control disc, this is just not that fast of a disc. The #1 Hookshot can handle strong winds and powerful shots, it also makes for an excellent mid-range disc.
This disc is no longer available.

Unlike its stable cousin, the buzz, this is one of the most overstable mid-range discs out in the market. Discraft gives the drone a stability rating of 2.5, thus this is a good mid-range choice for experienced golfers and anyone who shots anhyzers strategically. This is a disc that isn’t going to spin over in a headwind.
The Drone is available in the inexpensive Pro-D plastic, as well as the strong and flexible premium FLX plastic.
