For experienced players, mid-range discs are the bread and butter of disc golf. Having a disc that will provide precision control and accuracy is the key to shooting under par golf rounds.
The Dynamic Discs Truth is one of the top mid-range frisbees on the market. This disc is known as the truth because of it’s straight flight path. The Truth has a very similar flight rating to many of the other best selling mid-range discs like the Discraft Buzzz.
The Westside Tursas is an understable mid-range disc ideal for beginners and for anhyzer shots for experienced disc golfers. As an understable mid-range, newere disc golfers will find that they can get almost as much distance from the Tursas as they can many distance drivers. This is a best selling disc and a must have for players beginning the game.
The Innova Roc is one of the top mid-range discs in Disc Golf. Due to it’s popularity, there are many different variations of it and it is available in dozens of different polymer plastic blends. Unlike most of our best selling mid-range discs listed, the Roc is somewhat overstable which is excellent for control, but means the disc is not going to fly (or at least finish) straight. This disc will consistently fade hard to the left with a traditional backhand throw, unless you’re playing with an old Roc disc that has been thoroughly beat in.
For some reliable overstability to help you park your disc around a short distance obstacle, the Roc is the go-to disc of many disc golfers. The flight rating of the Roc is 4/4/0/3.
The Discraft Buzzz is one of the Top Midrange disc golf discs in the world for a reason. It feels good and flies great. The Buzzz has a flat top and thin rim. It is a fantastic disc with a consistent stable flight for backhand and forehand shots. The Buzzz is not an understable disc, so beginners will find that it tends to fade hard on them, but for experienced players the Buzzz is a straight shooter that provides maximum control.
