Perhaps the most coveted new disc release of 2019 is the Kastaplast Gote or Goat (meaning a person from Southern Sweden and not an animal, or the Greatest Of All Time, although after testing this disc, some might think of it as that kind of GOAT).
Kastaplast has quickly become one of the darlings of the discgolf world with its uniqe plastic blend and excellent feel. One cannot help but look at Kastaplast and realize the quality of production. For this reason, there has been a lot of buzz (not related to a certain Discraft disc which is said to have a similar flight) and excitement around Kastaplasts latest release.
The Gote is a standard straight line mid-range with flight ratings Speed 4, Glide aloft 5, High Speed Turn 0, and Low Speed Fade 1. This is the perfect do it all mid-range disc with a thinner rim and slower speed than the Kask. This disc will hold a line when thrown with power but will not turn over. For lower speed throwers, the Gote will provide a reliable consistent flight with a gradual fading finish.
In the coveted first run release the Gote will be available in K1 plastic.
