This one of the few speed 13 distance drivers recommended for new golfers.

Discraft says this about the Daedalus: “A distance driver for humans who want to soar with gods. The Daedalus has wings to fly far down the fairway. The Daedalus is a new maximum downwind distance driver crafted for less powerful players. The disc will double as a long distance roller for more experienced players. Discmania gives their second fairway driver this description: “The FD2 is a reliable speed 7 staple fairway driver for all skill levels. It’s not too glidey so as to avoid it from sailing off-target and it comes equipped with a low-speed fade you can depend on. Packed with a nice amount of high speed stability, this disc provides you with some nice straight lines when thrown flat and hard. The more power you put behind this disc, the straighter lines you will see it deliver. When thrown more gently, the fade will kick in earlier in it’s flight making it’s ability in cutting corners a lot easier.”

Vibram Solace

Like the Lace, the Vibram Solace is a wide rimmed distance driver with a 2.4cm wing. This disc has the same diameter and rim depth, but is slightly thinner than the popular Lace. For many Vibram Fans, there is a Vibram hole in the bag as the O-Lace is just not overstable enough. The Solace should fill this gap. The overstability allows it to perform well for powerful forehand drives and overhand shots.

Westside Shield

The Shield is the newest Westside putter that was used as part of the 2014 Trilogy Challenge. This putter discis more stable than the Swan and boasts of being a straighter flier than the Westside Harp. This is a very tall disc at 2.5cm tall, and is a relatively domey disc. Like all Westside putters, this new disc will be available in the BT plastic blends.

The Axiom Inspire is a friendly to throw disc golf discs for players of all skill levels. This driver has the same wing size (1.7cm) as the Crave, but due to this being an understable disc, it is supposed to be more friendly for low power players. This new driver is similar to the MVP Switch and is a great choice for new disc golfers, women, and children, who want an easy to throw disc with some ‘style’.

The Dynamic Discs Thief is the new fairway driver that was included as part of the 2014 Trilogy Challenge players pack. The Thief is a great disc that is friendly to new and experienced players alike and is more stable than the new DD Witness.

DD describes the thief like this, “..a versatile fairway driver that will benefit players of all skill levels. With the stable flight path and glide, the Thief will be a fairway staple for every bag. For slower arms, the Thief will be an overstable complement to the Witness. For big arms, the Thief will be a straight flyer with slight hyzer release.”

Latitude 64 Scythe

This new disc is said to be like the Innova Destroyer with a 2.2 cm wing. Like a sharp scythe cuts through wheat this disc is supposed to slice through the air with the same ease. This distance driver is said to have have excellent glide while still being very stable. It was designed for experienced disc golfers who wanted a fast disc that still provides excellent control.
