Innova Nova

The Nova, is a straight flying Aviar type putter that utilizes two different plastic blends to provide a unique flight and feel. The outer rim is a very soft “grippy” plastics that grabs the chains. The inner flight plate is firm, but tacky. This two-piece putter disc is described as “having the high-speed stability of the Big-Bead Aviar with minimal low-speed fade.”  This is the perfect finesse for handling the power of “modern players”, while providing precision accuracy. With two plastic varieties, this disc offers more color options than you’ll ever see in an Apple smartphone.

A unique thing about the Nova compared with other over-mold discs is that it has slits approximately one inch apart throughout the rim.

Innova Atlas

The Atlas is the first disc manufactured by Innova that combines two different plastics in the same disc. This method of utilizing a rim piece that is composed of a different plastic from the flight plate is called an ‘overmold’ and has been very successful for MVP.

The rim of the Atlas is composed of a gummy composite that provides an unparalleled grip, consistency, and flight durability for a long time. On the underside of the rim there is four compass points that help secure the outer rim to the inner flight plate.

Innova Shark 3

Innova claims that the Shark3 is “faster and sleeker than the original Shark, the Shark3 is a stable mid-range designed to attack the fairways. This predictable shot shaper features a smooth rim and consistent release. Rescue long approaches and circle the pin with the Champion Shark3.

Unlike the original Shark, which is available only in DX plastic, the Shark3 is available in Innova’s new blend of Champion plastic, which has a slightly more grip and is also a highly translucent and bright color.

Innova Aviar Driver

Innova Aviar Yeti

The Yeti Aviar comes in a special blend of Pro plastic that is more firm than other Aviar models. This disc was made for four time world putting champion Jay “Yeti” Reading. The Yeti Aviar is a slightly thinner model with a big bead. The top of this putter isn’t only flat but has a unique concave indented top allowing for maximum thumb push.

The Yeti Pro Aviar is a straight flying disc with only minimal fade.  It is great for short putts and long upshots.

Innova Roc3

This overstable mid-range is a touch faster than its ever popular counterpart the Roc. Unlike it’s predecessor, the Roc 3 will only be available in Innova’s Champion plastic. The Champions mix allows for better grip and shine, making it easier to spot in foliage.

This new Roc 3 appears to be able to handle anything,from controlled approaches to range drives. Its extremely versatile and performs well in windy conditions.

Innova Tern

The Tern is a understable high speed driver in Innovas line of discs. Being understable, this is a disc that provides max distance for intermediate players as well as a good level of comfort.  While the Tern comes equipped with a wide rim it isn’t decked out to its max width unlike the Dominator, Vulcan, or Katana. The Innova Tern was approved by the PDGA on December 3, 2012.

Innova states that the flight rating of this disc in Star and Champion plastic slightly differ. The flight rating for Champion Plastic is 12/6/-2/2. The Champion plastic is super clear and looks sharp.
