Review

The Astra-X is a slightly modified version of the Astra. This disc acts very differently than the original, with a beefier rim feel. Without a doubt, it is the most overstable disc in the Millennium’s collection of distance drivers.

This disc has a significant fading, especially at the end of its flight. However, due to this factor, it is not advisable for beginners. You need a powerful arm to throw this bad boy. Nonetheless, Astra-X is ideal for against-the-wind shots and places where a consistent fade is sought for fast and robust throwing players.

Its only downside is that Astra-X is a limited edition model. It will not be mass-produced—also, the disc hyzers when the initial launch speed starts to slow down.

Pros

  • Beefier rim
  • Nice fading
  • Perfect for against-the-wind shots

Cons

  • Not fit for beginners
  • Limited golf disc
  • Overstable
  • Hyzers after initial launch speed decelerates

Review

Millennium’s Quasar is a high-speed disc with a good turn resistance, smooth glide, and many fades. However, its speed makes it compensate by being a little shaky or twitchy during flight. Nonetheless, it’s a solid disc designed for powerful throwers whose shots require a strong fade and loves long open drives.

The Quasar is our most overstable disc, allowing players to throw against the wind with confidence. This disc is ideal for backhand and sidearm throwers alike. However, some say it’s perfect for a forehand shot. It’s also a reliable golf disc if you don’t have a good throwing arm. The durability is off the charts. You don’t need to worry about it having dents even after it hit numerous trees.

The Millennium Quasar is easily gripped and very firm. But smaller hands can have a little problem holding its rim. Some note that they don’t feel very in control when using the Millennium Quasar as it is not beginner-friendly.

Pros

  • Can travel very far
  • Suitable for forehand shots
  • Perfect for long open drives
  • Smooth glide and fast
  • Grips well

Cons

  • Not suitable for players with small hands
  • Very fast for some
  • A bit shaky or twitchy
  • Not beginner-friendly

Recommended For People With Skill Level Advanced, Intermediate
Plastic Grade Durable, Midgrade, Premium
Price $13 to $16

Review

Some disc golf players say that Scorpius is similar to Innova’s Destroyer. Nonetheless, it’s a long-distance driver with a great feel to it. The disc is a 13-speed driver with a good glide and a slight turn before delivering a consistent finish.

The Scorpius is very fast, which lets it fly longer. However, in terms of speed and fade, it is a notch below the Quasar. Still, the disc will deliver exceptional distance and control in into-the-wind scenarios. It’s best for throwers with a modest amount of force who need something that will fade consistently. It’s ideally suited to intermediate and advanced players, but novices can still use it if smaller weights are used.

One of the significant drawbacks of the Scorpius is it’s not as fast as it is intended to be. It works well with both backhand and forehand throws. But if you’re more comfortable with forehand throws, this one’s for you. But if you want to have skip ace runs, the Scorpius is a keeper!

Pros

  • Very fast
  • Highly compatible for forehand throws
  • Great in windy places

Cons

  • Not suitable for new players or beginners

Review

The Millennium’s Draco supports a smooth, clean release. The easy throw will carry the disc in a range of shot styles thanks to its extremely flat top and resistance to off-axis torque. The Draco will undoubtedly become a fan favorite in the Millennium range.

Its name is derived from the dragon constellation in the northern sky. Just like the mythical dragon, it is a powerful and stable distance driver. It has less glide and a stronger and more extended fade. Moreover, due to its stability and speed, this disc has a high degree of control. It also can face headwinds for all skill levels and distance ranges.

Draco has a super stiff build but is not that flexible. The Draco is not so overstable that it can only be used as a utility disc. But it will fight to the ground rapidly.

Pros

  • Extra flat top
  • Resistant to off-axis torque
  • More powerful glide
  • Wind-resistant

Cons

  • A bit sticky and pearly
  • Decreased glide
  • Stiff but not flexible
  • Not overly overstable

Review

The JLS was the few models introduced by Millennium during its first years as a company. It was released in the summer of 1999 as a limited-edition run of only 2000 discs. JLS was the company’s breakthrough model, which set the level driver technology. The disc quickly became one of the best-selling distance drivers of all time. It’s not surprising that it’s still popular now.

The JLS is a long-distance driver with a top speed of roughly eight mph that is dependable and adaptable. It’s a bit heavy at first, but it’ll give you nice flights once you get the hang of it. It is slightly more overstable, but it provides the length to reach most pins.

It’s very durable and easier to control. It’ll do what you need to do drive after drive: left, right, or straight. It performs well downwind, and the plastic will retain the flight characteristics for many years.

Pros

  • Can fly straight
  • Perfect for downwind scenarios
  • Highly durable
  • Can retain flight characteristics.

Cons

  • More overstable
  • Heavy at first

Stability Level Very Overstable
Recommended For People With Skill Level Advanced, Intermediate
Plastic Grade Durable
Price $14 to $16

Review

The Millennium EXP-X is a long fairway driver that is very overstable. It began as an experimental model made to provide players with more speed and a harder fade. EXP-X can also handle any wind condition, but it has no turn and a hard, late fade at full power. Moreover, its overstability made it perfect for sidearm and backhand shots that require a consistent fade.

You still need to check this disc’s turn. It will slightly turn when faced with strong winds, but just for a fraction of a second before fading back hard left.

Pros

  • No turn
  • Best for both forehand and backhand
  • Suitable for sidearm shots

Cons

  • No glide

Review

Millennium’s Sentinel MF is an excellent overstable midrange option for any golf disc player. The Sentinel is a quicker midrange disc that can handle a lot of power without flipping. Though solid, it maintains a straight line for a short period before ending with a strong forward fade. The disc has a shallow rim and a slight dome on top, making it easy to hold.

The only downside is the material used. It sometimes makes a dome instead of a flat top. But a little breaking in would hugely help it.

Pros

  • Easy to grip
  • Good for everyone

Cons

  • A bit domey

Review

The Millennium Taurus is an overstable mid-range driver. Like the constellation, after which it is called, the Taurus is a beefy disc. It has a wide diameter and is torque-resistant. Taurus will hold lines without turning over and will always finish strong. Moreover, players can rely on this beast’s predictable fade and trust its control in windy situations.

However, its beefiness can be its downside. Not all players can grip such a beast. In addition, it’s not suitable for meathooks, and it has a slightly slower speed than the rest.

Pros

  • Resistant to torque
  • Good for windy places
  • Not prone to turning

Cons

  • Hard to grip
  • Not meant for meathooks
  • Slower

Review

The Aurora MS could be the most authentic disc ever created by Millennium. It has no rollover, almost no fade, and a surprising amount of distance for a midrange disc. If you’re just new to disc golf, this is the disc to have.

It is also noted that although the disc is highly durable, the plastic is soft. Another downside is it’s a bit more flippy than the others on the list.

Pros

  • Highly suitable for backhands
  • Flies farther than other midrange discs
  • Highly neutral disc

Cons

  • A bit flippy
  • Plastic is soft

Review

The Millennium Omega 4 putter has a beadless rim, a well-rounded nose, and a deep rim, providing a comfortable sensation when you’re gripping it. However, it can be a bit of a problem for small-handed players. Whether thrown off the tee or into the basket, the Omega 4 will offer a consistent and reliable flight to your goal.

The plastic is strong, but it has a slight sticky softness to it. Another thing you need to know about it is it does not work well with full-power hyzers.

Pros

  • Durable
  • Deep rim

Cons

  • Tacky and soft
  • Not good for full power hyzers
  • Not suitable for small hands

Review

The Omega Big Bead is ideal for shots ranging from 50 to 200 feet. When you throw it softly, it will travel straight and stick where it lands. The Omega Big Bead has a larger bead around the rim, which provides a little more fade. When throwing, the larger bead provides excellent support for your finger.

The disc’s performance is very expected. This disc’s plastic feels and crazy elasticity cause it to stick to the chains easily.

Pros

  • Travels straight
  • Larger bead for finger support
  • Highly predictable

Cons

  • Short-range

Review

The Omega SuperSoft is one of those discs that will take advantage of the chains. It will almost always sit if you can get it to touch one of the chain links. SuperSoft also feels excellent holding it, whether wet, dry, warm, or cold. However, the wind is not its friend. It can’t withstand strong winds as it will change direction quickly.

Pros

  • Suitable for any humidity
  • Good grip
  • Chain magnet

Cons

  • Not good on windy days

Freetail is the latest release from Mint Discs, and they’re back with a free boom! Understable and simple to use, this disc is a great control driver for any level of player. When thrown flat, it provides an excellent anhyzer flight and a lot of glides.

With this disc, you may throw it hard and flat and see it land on the ground and stand up for a stunning roller angle. High-velocity turns that gain a lot of glides and keep their angle are also ideal for this board.

Like the Alpha, the Freetail is a driver that prefers to be controlled rather than commanded. It’s a simple flat spin or a buttery hyzer for the finest flip-up line you’ve ever had, so go ahead and give it a try! Mint Discs provides the ideal flippy hybrid driver for you if you’re looking for a new one.

Pros

  • Feels great in your hand
  • Shapes nice lines with very little effort to hit the target
  • Showcase flip-up, turn over and fade back at the end of the flight

The Mint Discs Alpha fairway driver is versatile, and throwers may use it in several circumstances. Designed to go straight and fade reliably, Alpha is a high-performance fairway driver. This disc is stable enough but not very overstable that novice disc golfers can’t throw it to battle the wind.

In every golfer’s bag, the Alpha is a necessary fairway wood. With a straight flight and consistent fade, the Alpha has the design of a Power Fairway that responds to your line and power. The Alpha is a steady disc favored by most players for its ability to take on headwinds. Also, it can carve through the woods.

All your hopes will be met and then some with the Alpha’s new color schemes and flatter domes. Thanks to Sublime Plastic’s stunning designs, this disc is a winner for both throwers and collectors.

Pros

  • Gives a great feel to the hands
  • Continue straight for a long flight before consistently fading at the end
  • Can handle additional power or torque without flipping over
  • Great for holes that either call for ground play or natural hyzer flight

Cons

  • Domey, which makes it a bit uncomfortable in the hand of others
  • Requires enough experience before using

Review

Mint Discs continues to release new molds, the most recent of which is the Jackalope. This fairway driver has a great feel, and while it does have some turns, it isn’t overly understable.

You can use it for hyzer flips, turnovers, and effortless distance on long shots when playing with a tailwind. It has a very pleasant feeling in hand, and both professionals and amateurs can use it with equal success.

It’s a simple thrower that practically every player of any skill level will find useful. The slightly understable flight characteristics make it the perfect line shaper in the woods, and it can cover significant distance when flying with a tailwind.

If you have a long arm, the Jackalope is an excellent choice for rollers because it maintains a clean straight line for a long period.

Pros

  • Great for navigating those tight fairways
  • Can throw flat with a dependable turn amidst of the flight
  • Can throw on a slight hyzer and will flip
  • Flies straight
  • Applicable for all levels of players

Cons

  • It will always fade out.

In the Mint lineup, the Mustang is a great feeling, speedy mid-range. It has a beadless rim with a smooth but aggressive design for precise distance management. In the mold, players of all ability levels can toss a disc.

Additionally, Mustang is a disc that holds any line you choose and flies straight when thrown flat. When it comes to midrange, you’ll find yourself reaching for the Mint Discs Mustang over and over again.

Eternal and Sublime plastic versions of these discs are both eye-catching and comfortable. Between these two plastics, you’ll be able to find the right balance. Pick up a stunning Mustang today so that you can once again imagine yourself galloping to the finish line.

Pros

  • Fits perfectly for a fan grip
  • Works great to the players with weaker arms
  • Holds up the line well
  • Power throwers may use this

Mint Discs has just published their second CD, Bobcat, following the hugely successful Alpha. Bobcat is designed to fly straight and stable flyers, and it is a very flat mid-range.

You can choose from three different polymers for the beadless feel of the handle. Fans of Mint plastic will be delighted to have a new moderate option. If you’re looking for a disc that can take on various shot forms, this disc is ideal for you.

Furthermore, this disc and plastic have a great feel to them. After the Alpha, Mint gained a cult-like following; therefore, this disc is guaranteed to remain a regular in many people’s bags. Take it for a shot and see for yourself how it performs. Using the Bobcat in tandem with the Alpha is a wonderful way to get a similar flight path but at a lower altitude.

Pros

  • Flat top and beadless bottom
  • Short-range accurate approach disc for players with average arms
  • Overstable mid but not a utility mid
  • Nice soft fade at the end

Cons

  • Power players may overthrow this disc
  • Flex out of anything with least anhyzer than a roller

There is no doubt that the Mint Discs molds are some of the best out there. In line with this, the Bullet is one of their best golf discs up to date. It’s a beadless putter with a low profile.

Holding the Bullet is a pleasure, and it flies straight and accurately. In terms of flatness, it looks that the first batch of them is very flat, and it fits snugly in hand. Bullets disc is currently available in three distinct types of plastic: Royal, Royal Soft, and now Eternal, all made of polyethylene.

Both the Royal plastics and the Eternal plastics have sticky baselines. They are a disc that will help you feel more confident in the circle and have a lot of promise off the tee. Royal plastic is the professional-grade plastic used by Mint.

The advantage of using this plastic over Sublime, Apex, or Eternal is that it has a greater grip in all situations, unlike the other three. The sticky texture is distinct in that it is both soft and strong. Royal plastic is also a good choice if you want your garment to “season” or wear quickly. Typically, when this sort of plastic wears in and loses its high-speed stability, it will fly straighter and more consistently.

Pros

  • Comes out of the hands easy
  • Hold any line well
  • Lands gently
  • Show straighter flight path
  • Holds all  your power without turning over

Cons

  • Fade a bit at the end of the flight
  • May overthrow by the powerful players

Review

The Profit is the Mint’s third disc and first putt and approach disc. Also, the Profit is Mint Discs’ much-anticipated first-ever putter release. This great putt and approach disc has a flight path that is just over steady, and it will finish with a hint of predictable fade at the end.

Profit has a flat top and a beaded bottom, which provides additional stability. While they are reluctant to label it as the “next Alpha,” it is reasonable to state that this is the putter that comes close to being the best in the market. Throwers may use it for various shots, such as a slightly overstable putter or a driving disc that is simple to the range.  Make a few money putts with the Profit, and you’ll be laughing at your cash account.

Moreover, Profit’s plastic provides a solid basis, with a touch of softness, and is fairly rigid. If you look at the bead, you’ll notice that it’s rounded at the shoulders, but it then takes a roughly 45-degree slant to the bead (a medium-sized bead). If you had to pick a side, you’d say it’s thin compared to the majority of other putters on the market.

Pros

  • Feels great in the hand
  • Nice off of the tee box
  • Holds great lines
  • Very easy to throw
  • An excellent disc for the beginners

Cons

  • Adjustment for powerful throwers is needed.

The Gator3 by Innova is characterized by a low profile and a flat top. Innova’s new standard for an overstable midrange is this disc. The Gator3 doesn’t even notice the wind on its journey to the hoop. You’ll feel that the plastic used to create this awesome disc is highly grippy and sturdy.

The Innova Mako3 is the latest edition and low-profile version of the incredible and straight-flying Innova Mako. While it has putter flight characteristics, it also has the glide and speed of a midrange disc. If you want a disc with a straight flight and very little fade, the Mako3 could be it.

It is a great disc for beginners since it has one of the straightest flights in the midrange game. You’ll impress anyone on the course as it will make you appear like an expert when you throw it. Its glide, enhanced distance, easy-grip, clean, and consistent release will appeal to you.

Also, the disc is simple to control. Because it is highly responsive, this can be your go-to disc if you’re on a course that requires technical shots.

Pros

  • Straight flights
  • Durable plastic

Cons

  • The deep feel is not for everybody

The Warship is a flexible midrange disc that’s straight-flying and has a very long range. It also features a little high-speed turn followed by a small, low-speed fade when thrown with power. Westside uses high-tech material that is extremely robust and with superb performance when creating the Warshop disc. The disc retains its flight characteristics and dependability for an extended period.

Westside’s Warship is very user-friendly and can be used by any disc golfer. It’s very controlled at faster arm speeds. But lower arm speeds will maintain a straight line, and it’s not suitable for newbies with lower arm power. It always finishes to the left for right-handed players and the right for left-handed players.

Pros

  • Suitable for any player level
  • Long-range
  • Made from high-quality materials

Cons

  • A bit overstable than stable
  • The rim feels deep and crooked

The Latitude 64 Retro Burst Fuse is the most versatile midrange disc that the company has ever developed. It has a stable flight path up to 300 ft. The disc will also hold lengthy anhyzer lines with minimal fade at the end. On the other hand, the plastic used is not very durable.

Retro Burst Fuse can withstand power from veteran players while cutting precise lines for every type of player. One drawback is that it can be uneven at times. It can be delicate on the release angle if your form is incorrect.

Pros

  • Great with veteran and new players

Cons

  • Very understable
  • Touchy on the release angle if your form is off
  • Subpar materials used

The Tursas is an understable midrange disc released in March 2013 by Westside. Like any other midrange disc of the company, it is great for turnover throws and highly suitable for beginners. The Tursas come in premium Opto Line and Tournament plastics.

With its versatility, the Tursas is an excellent addition to any disc golf bag! The shallower grip is great for any skill level or age, and it provides a nice feel.

On the other hand, the Tursas flips like crazy in any form of headwind. But for a calm or tailwind, you can get it to travel virtually like a straight fairway driver. Also, this disc is unlikely to be your main midrange disc unless you play in wooded courses requiring sophisticated shots.

Pros

  • High turnover throws
  • Best with beginners
  • High-quality materials

Cons

  • Too understable
  • Not good with a headwind

The Paradox is a stable disc that really tries to turn. Some say it’s probably the most understable midranges on the market. Most players who use it noted its ability to fly on unusual lines. Axiom used premium materials for a luxurious look and feel. It has the same remarkable durability as Proton but has more bright opaque colors.

This is a great disc for advanced players for utility shots like flip-ups, rollers, and massive anhyzers. It is an excellent first disc for beginners, as it flies straight hyzer-flips or a teaching disc. With this disc, you can flip to flat and still have enough turn-on power to reach a good distance.

It’s largely tailored to slower-armed players and won’t be much use to people who throw hard. However, it is a rather understable midrange that will suit both novices and slower-armed players.

Pros

  • High-quality materials
  • Great for utility shots

Cons

  • Not suitable for hard throwers
  • More on the understandable side

Review

As one of Discraft’s understable midrange discs, the Meteor is ideal for controlled turnover throws. If you’re right-handed, throw backhand, and require a disc that will fly to the right, it’s the disc for you. The Meteor turns and glides, giving beginners more control and range. It is available in high ESP and Z plastics.

The Discraft Meteor is one of the best golf disc plastics available, with excellent durability. It’s available in weights ranging from 167 to 178 grams. Lightweight discs will roll over faster. However, the disc has no bead, and the ESP is quite smooth. As a result, most players find themselves shifting it on their hands before throwing to get a confident grip.

Pros

  • Best for right-handed players
  • Highly durable

Cons

  • More fade
  • No bead, less grip

Review

The Matrix is a moderately overstable GYRO™ midrange created in response to overwhelming demand from MVP disc fans. It’s a quick and smooth large-diameter disc with responsive overstable flight and a wide power range. Additionally, it was the MVP Circuit’s mid-range disc for 2016.

It is built to withstand turnover at all power levels and conditions. MVP’s Matrix should have a straight throw followed by a consistent fade for most throwers. While this isn’t a “meathook” style overstable midrange, its utility should not be overlooked.

With this midrange style, release angles make all the difference. It delivers good flights on releases ranging from anhyzer to flat and hyzer. The Matrix is a precision steady midrange with long straight flights that fade. It is built to withstand turnover at all power levels in all scenarios, and its stability is like a longer Axiom Envy.

MVP’s most premium material for an amazing look and feel is NEUTRON PLASTIC. Proton’s outstanding durability is combined with a wider range of vivid, opaque hues.

Pros

  • Straight fade
  • Comfortable grip

Cons

  • Don’t travel too far
  • Turns over easily

Review

Strong winds will make even the most seasoned player appear inexperienced. But Dynamic Discs thought of an ingenious idea of creating Justice. You’ll never need to seek anything else for a short-distance, over-stable response again. The Justice can have a decent shot into a headwind only to have your disc flip over.

While it has a decent-sized rim for a midrange, which leads to a nice amount of speed, it lacks glide. The lack of glide is a plus because you want to control this disc. It’s not going to travel down the fairway. It simply cannot with its stability at both high and low speeds.

Pros

  • Great for strong winds
  • Highly controllable

Cons

  • Less glide

Conclusion

Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to disc golf, having the best midrange disc cannot be overstated. Midrange shots are required to throw shots closer to the hoop. And, because there are so many good midrange discs out there, this list will make it much easier for you.

Whatever midrange you choose, ensure it provides you with control, accuracy, and correct distance. Overall, you must practice daily and improve your midrange throw. It will allow you to figure out what works best for you and enjoy the game more.

The First Innova Backpack

The HeroPack is the first backpack style disc golf bag Innova released. If you aren’t familiar with Innova Champion discs, you really should get to know this great disc golf company. They make excellent discs, along with bags and other disc golf products.

Also, if you are a fan of modern disc golf, you should really be thanking Dave Dunipace, the founder of Innova. He started it all when the company released the Eagle, the first modern disc golf disc.

But enough about the disc golf history lesson, let’s get into the review.

Innova HeroPack Features

  • Holds up to 25 discs
  • Water resistance
  • Lightweight (only weights 4.5lbs)
  • Mini pocket that holds 2 to 3 minis
  • Top and boom putter pockets
  • Two Water bottle holders
  • Two larger storage compartments
  • Comfortable, adjustable shoulder straps

If you have 20 to 25 discs you want to carry during a normal round of disc golf play, than this bag is the perfect option for you. It’s a backpack style bag that weighs less than 5 lbs (4.5 lbs to be exact) which makes it super easy to carry around during long rounds and it won’t break your back.

This bag is also a great fit for players that like to carry a lot of extra stuff with them while playing a round of disc golf. And by extra stuff, I mean non-disc items. It has two water bottle holders, one on each side of the bag.

There are also multiple storage compartments on each side of the bag. These are great for carrying snacks, keys, wallet, cell phone and any other items that you might need.

For further reading on great stuff to keep in your disc golf bag, check out this article.

As for as disc storage goes, most of the storage area is located at the middle of the bag. Multiple discs can be placed side by side and then zipped together, so you don’t need to worry about losing your discs if the bag happens to tip over.

The bag also includes two putter pockets, one on the top of the bag and one on the bottom. This is great if you like easily accessing your putter disc during play.

I can’t say enough nice things about this bag. It works great for beginners and advanced disc golfers. It holds up to 25 discs and is comfortable to carry and lightweight weight.

It packs in a lot of storage space both for all the disc it holds and any non-disc items you want to carry with you. Grab a heropack today and you won’t be disappointed!

The Best Disc Golf Carts 2023

Playing disc golf means having different equipment and accessories. It’s most true when you’re playing professionally or leisurely in the course. It’s similar to golf, where courses could have 9 or 18 holes (or for disc golf, baskets). The sport is usually played in terrains with trees, hills, ponds, rocks, or out-of-bounds restrictions. And just like golf, it takes time to go from one basket to another. Imagine carrying golf discs, a water tumbler, a foldable chair, extra shirts, and other paraphernalia from one course to another. You’ll be exhausted, and you can’t play right. That’s where disc golf carts come in. Unlike the disc golf bag, the cart adds a new level of convenience and comfort. It lessens the effect of carrying the bag’s weight, reducing backaches and other problems on the body. As a result, Disc Golf Action has compiled a list of the best disc golf carts 2023. Read on!

Below is a table summarizing the best disc golf carts in this guide.

Review:

The MVP Rover Cart + Nucleus Bag is a lightweight and highly expandable cart. It’s MVP’s first cart designed to take the weight off your shoulders and serve as your caddy.

Though it has two wheels, they are “sitting feet” which evenly distribute weight and have a lower center of gravity. It makes the cart extremely stable, allowing for extra smooth rides. Furthermore, because it is made of aluminum tubing, the frame structure is lightweight while remaining sturdy and weather-resistant.

You can extend the cart’s handle up to 51 inches in length, which can also be easily detached. At the same time, without the handle, the cart collapses to 1 ft. for easy and no-hassle transportation and storage. The cart has two large drink holders as well as an attachment strap to keep your gear secure.

Pros:

  • The handle is simple to remove
  • Solid construction
  • 51-inch expandable handle

Cons:

  • No specified capacity

Review:

The Zuca Compact is an excellent choice for any player looking for compact storage that adds convenience and comfort.

One of its standout features is its ability to support up to 300 lbs. It can hold up to 15 discs which should be sufficient for players of any skill level. Zuca Compact’s strong and patented frame can support a large weight while also providing seating. Yes, that’s correct; you can use and convert this cart into a seat if necessary.

There’s also an adjustable inner top shelf and two massive stretchable pockets. The adjustable feature should give you plenty of room for whatever else you want to bring into the game. Finally, two large-size water bottle holders and a mini pouch provide additional storage space.

Pros:

  • Small in size but with a large storage space
  • Can carry up to 15 discs
  • Has sturdy seating
  • Offers bottle holders and mini pouch

Cons:

  • Not suitable in uneven terrain
  • Slightly small

Review:

If you want the OG disc golf cart, this is the one for you. Each new model improves on the previous one, and it is now more sturdy and durable than ever. The current model has detachable foam wheels and an adjustable handle. Also, the cart has one of the most storage spaces and the most comfortable seats on the list.

The All-Terrain cart not only has a comfortable seat, but it is also at an ideal height fit for tall people. Its seat is two feet above the ground, making it easiest to get up and down on.

Its main storage area is a rack that can hold up to 40 discs. But you can also add dozens more in its accessory side pouches. You can also get off-brand putter pouches like the Power Pocket, which adds eight discs to the storage. However, its storage capacity and build are not suitable for small cars.

Pros:

  • Up to 40 discs in storage
  • Most comfortable seat fit for tall players
  • Has a rack

Cons:

  • Not fit for players with small cars
  • Not good for hilly or rough courses

Review:

Changing the sturdy frame into a portable seat is one of this product’s standout qualities. Also, it can support and carry up to 300 pounds of weight. In addition, you can rapidly flip up the seat to access your discs.

The cart has a large capacity that can hold at least 25 discs. Its hand-washable bag is high-quality polyester, making it long-lasting and water-resistant. A large zippered pocket in front provides extra storage for anything you wish to carry. The bag also has a zipper door opening that allows quick access to all your discs.

While on the course, the cart feels comfortable and light. Due to its tubeless foam performance tires, it can handle a variety of terrain. Whether you’re playing in rocky, sandy, snowy, or harsh terrain, this cart can handle it. The wheels will simply roll easily, and the tire will feel very nice while you stroll it around.

Pros:

  • Best on any terrain

It’s easier to put your bag in place and pull it out when needed. The wheels are also simple to attach and detach, and the telescopic handle makes it effortless to move around.

Overall, this is a versatile device. It’s an all-terrain cart that will fit with almost any disc golf bag. The only setback it has is fewer storage compartments and water bottle pockets. Although there is some extra storage space beneath the bag, you’ll be keeping most of your things within the backpack.

Pros:

  • Very straightforward
  • Suitable for any disc golf backpack
  • Heavy-duty

Cons:

  • Fewer storage compartments

Review:

KVV 3 Wheel Golf Push Cart is made for golf but can be transformed for disc golf. It eliminates the need to buy two carts if you play both sports. This is a simple cart with a universal hook to attach your backpack. Unfortunately, unlike the other options on this list, it does not contain a backpack or storage area.

The cart includes three essential accessories: a cup holder, a scorecard holder, and an umbrella mount. This also has a very powerful foot brake for optimal control regardless of the terrain. Its frame is made of plastics and lightweight metals. The same is true for its three wheels, set on ball bearings to handle any terrain. Unfortunately, these wheels do not come with mudguards.

This cart folds down in about a minute, making it ideal for anyone who frequently travels to play disc golf. It takes up relatively little room in both your car and at home. Its waterproof coating makes it simple to clean up after a rainy day.

Pros:

  • Foot brake
  • Foldable and portable
  • Has an umbrella mount
  • Waterproof

Cons:

  • Backpack is separate
  • No mudguard

You’ll be effortlessly traveling from one basket to another with its padded handle. It also includes an umbrella mount which is handy for any rainy day. This cart folds up quickly and is handy to transport. In addition, it is very simple to clean.

Pros:

  • Padded handle
  • Foldable and portable
  • Has an umbrella mount

Cons:

  • Backpack separate
  • Four wheels make it harder to steer
  • No mudguards

Review:

This is a three-wheel style compact and lightweight cart, weighing only 14.5 lbs. It folds down rapidly to a modest size of 21′′ x 13′′ x 17′′ thanks to the two-step folding design. The whole cart can easily fit in a space-constrained closet, garage, or your car’s trunk.

You’ll love its big, frictionless wheels with maintenance-free rubber tires. They are used on various course terrains, ranging from muddy grass to uphill walkways. The cart has an easy-push ergonomic handle, which you can simply adjust to three height levels.

Pros:

  • Adjustable ergonomic handle
  • Maintenance-free tires

Cons:

  • Narrow bottle containers

Factors When Choosing A Disc Golf Cart

Before picking any disc golf cart, you should consider specific facts and features other than the specifications stated. Obviously, you will select one within your budget, but you must also consider the following features in your buying selection.

Materials Used

There are different materials used in constructing disc golf carts. Maybe you don’t want to acquire all those metal-made carts because they’re going to be hefty. To be honest, grabbing plastic-made carts will do you no help either.

Yes, they will be light and inexpensive, but won’t they fade and crack in no time? After all, they’re not designed to withstand the harsh outdoor environment in which you play.

We recommend using aluminum, powder-coated steel, treated synthetic materials, or stainless steel. They will not only be ideal for extended runs, but they will also be able to support heavier loads.

Size & Carrying Capacity

Disc golf players like to carry as many discs as possible, even if they don’t intend to throw them all. One advantage of having a cart is bringing more discs with you when you’re out on the course. You should search for a cart that can hold between 12 and 21 discs at once.

Most disc golf carts are built with specific storage capabilities. Each has a weight limit that indicates how much it can carry. Manufacturers include these specs, and you may look at the cart’s dimensions, such as its width, depth, and height.

Portability

You want a cart that’s lightweight and easy to carry. Manufacturers recognized the demand and designed most carts to be light and portable. You also need to consider storing the cart when not in use.

Portability also entails foldability. A push-button folding is highly sought-after for its smoothness and speed. On the other hand, manual-folding mechanisms take time and can be difficult to fold or unfold.

Assembly

What is the significance of getting a cart that’s very hard to assemble? Make sure that the cart you’re picking comes with clear instructions. But if the one you’re looking at doesn’t have any, make sure it’s easy to put together.

Number Of Wheels

Clearly, the product in question is a cart, so it’ll have wheels. But the question is, how many wheels does your cart require? There are two, three, and four-wheeled carts, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. However, you must determine whether it provides you with fluid mobility or not.

Another thing you need to consider is the weather in the area where you play. Some courses are flatter than others, and you may get away with only two wheels on these types of courses. If you live in humid areas or play on steep, hilly courses, you should seek a cart with three wheels.

Add-ons

Add-ons mean more storage space. For example, pre-installed holders such as umbrella holders and smartphone holders will make the cart easier to use.

Some have a built-in seat that allows you to sit and rest on your cart without needing a bench. But take note that some carts require you to purchase one separately.

Other add-ons are brakes. To avoid slipping, you should have a strong one. It might be handy in avoiding potential hazards or accidents on steep courses.

Travel Through The Course With Best Disc Golf Carts

The most important aspect of disc golf is the player’s comfortability and convenience on the field. After all, how players feel during the game will eventually reflect its outcome. As a result, they should have the best disc golf cart to transport their equipment.

We hope this selection of the best disc golf carts has helped you determine which disc golf cart is best for you. The following evaluations can help you limit your choices and have an easy walk to every course!

Innova Dragon Review

No ratings yet.

The Dragon is a fairway driver made by Innova Champion discs. It doesn’t breathe fire like its name might suggest. In fact, it’s almost the opposite, it loves the water or at least it can float in it. That’s right, this understable disc can float! So you can trust it to fly over a water hazard and not sweat too much if it falls in. What Innova says about this disc: “The Innova Dragon is a lightweight driver with excellent glide for less powerful throwers who want to get more distance with less effort. Made with a special blend of plastic, the Dragon has great grip and will float in water. Dragons are only available between 150-160 grams.”

Innova Dragon Review

The Dragon is an understable fairway driver with a speed rating of 8. If you have ever thrown a TL3, it has a similar size and shape to that disc. The Dragon fits right between the TL3 and Archangel when it comes to speed and flight.

When you throw this disc flat it’s going to turn right out of your hand (for a right-handed backhanded throw) and then fly straight before fading back. You can get some nice S-curves with the Dragon on a stable release. If you give it some hyzer, you’ll get a nice straight flight before it fades a bit at the end. I can even get it to turnover with an anayzler release. It’s also a great roller in the fairway.

Aside from being easy to throw, this disc has a ton glide. I like releasing it flat and watching it glide in that nice S-shape. With a 2 fade rating, it comes back just a bit at the end of its flight. The light DX plastic has a nice grip to it. When throwing the Dragon I never feel light I get a bad release because the disc never slips out of my hand.

I wouldn’t recommend this disc to an advanced disc golfer but if you are new to the sport, the dragon makes a great starter driver. With a slower arm speed, you’ll see the Dragon fly on a nice straight path with just a touch of fade. As you arm speed increases, you’ll see this disc turnover more and you’ll get that nice S-curve I was talking about.

It’s a lighter disc so beginners will likely see some added distance using the Dragon. It’s only available in lower weights. The Dragon is a great choice for tailwinds and when throwing downhill. It wouldn’t be my choice for a headwind because it will turnover too easily even when released on a hyzer.

So to sum up, the Dragon makes a great choice for a beginner driver. It’s easy to throw and if you are a player that sees a lot of water hazards you won’t have to worry if takes a dip. It’s a great option for nice turnovers and s-curves. With some wear, this disc makes a great roller too. This disc might not have a permanent place in your bag but if you are beginner looking for a driver you can’t go wrong with the Innova Dragon.

Row your boat towards a high win rate with the Boatman disc. Despite having a large diameter, you can still feel comfortable holding a Westside Boatman disc. This disc is best used in the woods for long shots into greens.

What’s more, it will go straight towards the target before sliding into the fade when you throw it flat. Plus, it will carry the line on a slight hyzer throughout the flight of the disc.

The best thing about this Westside disc is that it’s very easy to control in the wind. For this reason, this disc is perfect even for players with intermediate skill levels. So, if you prefer a disc comfortable to hold with a powerful shot, the Boatman is for you.

Are you looking for a speedy disc for your slow throw? Westside Destiny is perfect for players looking to throw far and accurate shots on the next hole with superior speed. For this reason, you need the light color of this disc as there is the possibility that it is hard to find.

These discs are best for players who want to play fast and throw far. Hence, the Destiny is best suited as a driver because it can fly through the air at very high speeds with minimal effort.

Additionally, Destiny is best used when it needs to fly straight into an upshot from off the ground. So this will be best in wooded areas rather than open space.

However, this is also best when you need to throw a long-distance shot, and the wind is against you. Plus, this disc feels good in your hand because it is slightly lighter compared to others.

Pros

  • Great speed
  • Good for throwing long distances
  • Works best in wooded areas

Cons
