The Dragonfly is an understable mid-range disc from Aquaflight. You can trust this disc to get down narrow fairways with finesse and it works great for flip shots down the fairway. The Dragonfly also floats, now you can throw near water with confidence!
The Theory is an understable Axiom mid-range, described as the perfect complement to the Alias. When thrown with a flat release and moderate power, the Theory will turn predictably with great drift. For newer disc golfers with limited power, the Theory is a very straight flying disc.
The Discraft Buzzz OS is the more overstable brother to the most popular disc golf disc in the world, the Discraft Buzzz. This new OS frisbee has the same great feel disc golfers have grown to love, with additional stability. The Buzzz OS is ideal for those times when the wind picks. This disc is also an excellent choice for forehand shots that need to fly on a straight line.
Discraft gives the Buzzz OS a stability rating of 1.7. First runs are being produced in ultra durable Elite Z plastic. Discraft describes the Buzzz OS this way,
“It’s more overstable than a Wasp, much less than a Drone. And Buzzz OS feels like a Buzzz in your hand, lending a familiar confidence that adds up to success when the final score is tallied.”
The Lucky is an understable mid-range available in unique Crosslap plastic blends. This is a great disc for beginners, especially when it is purchased in light weights.
The Alias is an excellent flying mid-range that was one of the first discs released in the MVP line. While MVP rims are only available in black or white Eclipse glow plastic, the Axiom line will give disc golfer seven rim and fourteen core color options. A disc golfer could technically have 98 Alias’s that would all look different. While the colors for Axiom Discs are new, the Alias will still provide the same great performance and durability disc golfers have come to expect from MVP.
The Alias is described as a close brother of the popular MVP Tangent. This mid is a stable straight flyer good for placement shots from hyzer, flat, and anhyzer lines. This is a disc that will simply go where it is sent.
The Mortar is a Hyzer Bomb mid-range available in a variety of plastic blends. The flat top on this disc makes it overstably predictable in all windy conditions. The Hyzer Bomb Mortar is one over stable mid-range power throwers are going to really like.
The new MD3 is a fast stable mid-range that performs well in all weather conditions. This disc was designed for the player who prefers to have more power in his shots. As such this disc was made to handle hard shots. It won’t flip over and the flight will always end with a fade. This new mid-range is more overstable than its brother the MD2.
The MD3 is available in the popular Jolley Launcher version of C-Line plastic. This plastic looks and flys great.
The Blaze is a very overstable fairway driver. Gateway actually classifies the Blaze as a “fast” mid-range disc, but we feel this disc is a little fast for that classification. This disc is great for controlled drives requiring a hard fading finish. The Blaze works well for both forehand and backhand shots, and can handle headwinds.
The Gateway Blaze is available in high quality Sure Grip plastic, as well as premium Evolution plastic.
This is the most overstable mid-range in the gateway line. This is a slightly taller disc compared to the Karma, Mystic, and Element, and provides more of a slower, end flight fade.
This disc is one of gateways slightly overstable mid-range disc with a wide diameter. It is less stable than the Warrior, but more overstable than the Element. This is a great disc for windy conditions and side arm shots.
