These are different brands of disc golf discs. In disc golf, the brand is not necessarily the manufacturer as many manufactures produce discs for multiple brands.
The ABC Secret Weapon is an ideal disc for beginner golfers to figure out how to capitalize on using some solid hyzer throwing. The Secret Weapon is rated as 10/5/-3/2, and is an understable driver capable of a long flying S-Curve. Available only in ABC’s Gold Plastic.
The ABC Money Putter is a disc golf disc that was created to help you win money by putting better. A must have for disc golfers who regularly play in leagues and tournaments. The Money Putter is highly recommended for short approach shots as well as all your putting needs.
The money putter is available in inexpensive ABC Bronze line plastic.

The mission is a must-have disc for many people. It is acclaimed as the perfect disc for approaches that are both reasonably long, as well as mid-range. This disc is designed to give you an approach that sets up the shortest putt possible.
The Platinum Edition Mission discs are even more grippy than the Gold Edition. They are opaque, shiny black.
The Gamma Ray is one of ABC’s better kept secrets. Best used for a powerful straight drive, the Gamma Ray can stay on target and keep you in the clear.
The ratings for the gamma ray are 9/4/-2/2. This high speed, steady glide, and consistent turn and fade allow you to direct the gamma through the air. For intermediate players that can control a slight hyzer release, the disc can sail hundreds of feet. For experienced players with a powerful throw, this disc can easily sail straight through the air in a nice B-line.
The Gamma is available in a unique blend of ABC’s gold plastic. This is a soft but flexible blend that provides an outstanding grip.
The ABC Flying Squirrel surprises you with its distance. With a relatively gentle throw this disc can sail through the air, especially with a slight hyzer. This is a great disc golf disc for beginners.
The Flying Squirrel is rated as 6/4/-3/2. This speed, with the steady glide, means that with just the perfect shot you can watch the Flying Squirrel sail through the air in a beautiful S-Curve that glides directly to your target. The disc does have a slightly stronger tendency to slice rather than hook.
The Aerobie Epic is one of the most unique disc golf discs ever made. Unfortunately, this disc is now out of production so it is very hard to find them.
The name “Epic” is a pun in two ways 1) It is named for being an epic disc that no other disc comes close to, and 2) It (more seriously) has an epicyclic design ,which means the rim and weight is off-center.
The Epic is the only disc which also requires “tuning”, where you actually bend the disc prior to the throw (yes, every throw). The bend which you apply to the disc actually transforms the flight of it, making it either overstable or understable. For this reason, the Epic is the only disc which can fit into all of those categories at the same time and may fly with either a hook or a slice – you choose. Also, for this reason, the flight ratings (10/4/-2/4) and reviews which are given about the Epic are not to be taken completely serious; your experience will vary. You will notice that while some disc golfers love the disc, others find that this disc lives up to its claim – it can fly further than any other disc. Not for everybody, but those who love it, swear by it.
The Epic is typically thrown overhand, more like you would throw a baseball. Check out these epic shots:
Aerobie Epic Quick Stats:
Disc Width: 21.1cm (98.64% of average)
Disc Height: 1.4cm (72.15% of average)
Rim Thickness 2.5-4cm (164.33% of average on the narrow end)
The Innova Archangel is one of the best discs for newer disc golfers who have trouble controlling fade on their drives. This disc comes equipped with a good amount of high speed turn, excellent glide, and limited, thus allowing for greater distance.
The Archangel is available in the inexpensive DX plastic and is available in weights from 150 to 175 grams. The high understable flight characteristics help make this disc a good one for roller shots.
As a super-overstable high speed driver, the Ape isn’t made for everyone. Unless you can drive more than 400 feet, this won’t provide maximum distance for backhand shots.
Designed for ultra power throwers, headwind shots, and dogleg fades, The Ape lives up to its name. As a power driver, it is available only in the durable Champion plastic, in weights from 173-175 grams.
This disc is also available in lighter weights in the Blizzard Champion plastic between 130-159g. The lighter weight Blizzard Ape is built more for players who can’t throw with ape-like force. This is one of our best selling Blizzard plastic discs.
Excellent glide and a straight flight path make the Aero a great approach disc. This disc is available in the inexpensive DX plastic, and is available in weights from 178-180 grams.
As the disc first created designed for disc golf, the Aero has a bit of history to it, making history right at your fingertips. It is a putter, but before distance driver technology was even created, this disc once did the amazing feat of being thrown 485 feet in competition. This is maybe an old disc, but it’s still a good one.
The Firebird is the first “very overstable” disc that developing disc golfers should get. This disc will provide a massive fading hook, but not fast enough that less powerful players can’t control it. The Firebird can easily handle headwinds and makes for a pretty great forehand driver.
The Firebird is available in all the major Innova plastics, including inexpensive DX, durable Champion, and premium Star.
